Hesham Ghandour

Hesham Ghandour is the Co-founder of Tasker AI, an artificial intelligence automation startup based in San Francisco, United States. He studied computer science in Cairo and Munich, where he developed a digital recycling platform to fund his university education. Returning to Egypt, Ghandour built Cairo's first bus tracking application using Bluetooth beacons and subsequently developed the country's first peer-to-peer money transfer application. He previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Egyptian financial technology company Dayra, which secured a $15,000 grant and participated in the Y Combinator Winter 2020 batch. Additionally, he co-founded the open banking API provider Dapi before launching Tasker AI in 2023 to build an automation layer for the internet. His career focuses on engineering scalable software solutions across the financial technology, mobility, and artificial intelligence sectors in emerging markets.
