Hemmel Amrania

Hemmel Amrania is the Chief Executive Officer of Digistain, a London-based healthtech company utilizing AI-powered pathology to advance proprietary breast cancer diagnostics. He holds a Ph.D. from Imperial College London, where he distinguished himself as a doctoral researcher by winning both the institution's Outstanding Research Prize and its Innovation and Entrepreneurship Challenge. Prior to his current executive role, Amrania operated as a serial entrepreneur, successfully building and scaling multiple seven-figure businesses within the therapeutics and medical diagnostics sectors. Under his leadership, Digistain participated in the prestigious Y Combinator Winter 2022 accelerator batch to further transition his laboratory research into active clinical trials and commercial development.
