Heather Payne

Heather Payne is a Toronto-based entrepreneur and angel investor who currently serves as a board member at the apparel technology company Sheertex. Previously, she founded and served as CEO of Juno College of Technology, Canada's original programming bootcamp, which operated from a 12,000-square-foot facility and trained more than 1,500 students annually before concluding its final cohort in 2023. In 2011, Payne established the national non-profit Canada Learning Code, initially launched as Ladies Learning Code, to expand technology education access across multiple major Canadian cities. Her earlier career includes leading the Mozilla Hive Toronto initiative with significant funding support and earning an Honors Business Administration degree from the Ivey Business School at Western University. Today, Payne's professional focus centers on early-stage technology investments, educational program development, and expanding access to technical skills training for underrepresented demographics.
