Harry Qi

Harry Qi is the Co-Founder and CEO of Motion and an active angel investor based in Houston, Texas. He established the AI-driven productivity and scheduling platform in 2019 and guided the company through the Y Combinator Winter 2020 batch. Under his leadership, Motion secured a $13 million Series A funding round in 2022 backed by investors including SignalFire, Sam Altman, and Michael Seibel. Beyond his primary venture, Qi serves as a Limited Partner and Venture Partner at Pioneer Fund, managing a portfolio of over 150 early-stage startup investments. Prior to his entrepreneurial career, he spent two years as a Quantitative Trader at Optiver after earning a bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Dartmouth College. His current focus centers on scaling AI-powered B2B SaaS applications while supporting early-stage technology startups through global venture capital initiatives.
