Hans Robertson

Hans Robertson is a serial technology entrepreneur and the Co-founder and Executive Chairman of Verkada, an enterprise physical security company based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Since establishing the business in 2016, he has helped scale Verkada to 2,000 employees, 25,000 enterprise customers, and a $3.2 billion valuation following a $205 million Series D funding round in 2022. Previously, he co-founded the cloud networking firm Meraki in 2006, serving as Chief Operating Officer until Cisco acquired the company for $1.2 billion in 2012, where he subsequently worked as a Vice President. Holding computer science degrees from MIT, Robertson leverages his expertise in cloud-managed hardware as an active angel investor backing early-stage technology startups. Expanding his leadership beyond his own ventures, he recently joined the board of directors at manufacturing tech startup Tractian in May 2024.
