Hamilton Chan is the Head of Executive Education and a Visiting Professor at Loyola Law School, as well as the CEO of Coaching for Startups LLC in Los Angeles, California. He earned a BA from Harvard University and a JD from Harvard Law School before working as a financial analyst at JP Morgan and a corporate attorney at Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP. Chan subsequently served as Business Affairs Counsel at MGM and operated as the CEO of Charlie Chan Printing. Transitioning into the technology sector, he became the solo founder of the Y Combinator-backed startups Paperlinks and PayDragon during the Summer 2010 batch, ultimately achieving a successful business exit. His current focus centers on leveraging his diverse background in corporate law, investment banking, and entrepreneurship. He uses this unique expertise to provide executive coaching for early-stage technology founders.
