Haakam Aujla

Haakam Aujla is the Co-Founder and CEO of AgentMail, an artificial intelligence infrastructure startup based in San Francisco, California. Before launching his current venture, he worked as a Quantitative Researcher at the global market maker Optiver and graduated with a degree from the University of Michigan. At AgentMail, Aujla leads an eight-person team developing an API-first email platform that provides autonomous agents with full inbox capabilities. The company participated in the Y Combinator Summer 2025 batch and subsequently raised a $6 million seed funding round led by General Catalyst. The software platform currently supports over 500 B2B customers, tens of thousands of human users, and hundreds of thousands of active agent users. His current professional focus centers on building developer tools that integrate with frameworks like LangChain to facilitate seamless communication for complex AI systems.
