Guillermo Acuña

Guillermo Acuña is the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Fintual, a wealth management platform based in Santiago, Chile. Operating as a serial entrepreneur and full-stack developer, he provided the technical leadership that made the financial technology company the first Chilean startup accepted into the Y Combinator accelerator program during its Winter 2018 batch. Acuña subsequently helped scale the platform to manage over $1 billion in assets under management for more than 100,000 clients across Latin America. He also directed the software architecture supporting the firm's expansion into Mexico, fueled by a $39 million Series B funding round led by Sequoia Capital and backed by Kaszek Ventures in 2021. His current focus remains on leveraging his extensive full-stack engineering expertise to build and scale viable software solutions for the broader Latin American fintech sector.
