Gray Newfield

Gray Newfield is the co-founder and CEO of BeerMe, a global community payments platform built on the USDC stablecoin that launched in 2024. Previously, he spent four years as a software development engineer at Amazon, where he built core retail experiences across shopping, promotions, and checkout systems. Transitioning into the blockchain sector, Newfield led growth initiatives at Genie, an NFT marketplace aggregator that achieved $500 million in trading volume before its acquisition by Uniswap. Following the acquisition, he worked as a software engineer at Uniswap Labs for two years, shaping corporate strategy and leading the go-to-market execution for the Uniswap wallet. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Yale University. His current focus centers on leveraging his technical engineering expertise in decentralized finance and e-commerce to develop consumer-facing cryptocurrency payment applications.
