Grant Shaddick

Grant Shaddick is the Co-Founder and CEO of Tella, a cloud-based video recording and editing platform, operating out of Amsterdam, Netherlands. Before launching the company in 2020, he served as a Product Manager at InVision, a remote-first design collaboration platform, where he developed his expertise in remote work dynamics. Shaddick established Tella alongside co-founder Michiel Westerbeek to simplify the creation of asynchronous videos for professional teams and creators. Under his leadership, the software-as-a-service startup has secured $2.1 million in venture capital across two funding rounds, including a 2021 seed investment led by Point Nine Capital. The platform operates as a web and macOS application, integrating screen recording capabilities with artificial intelligence tools for automated editing and silence removal. His current focus centers on expanding Tella's product offerings to address the evolving asynchronous communication needs of remote workforces.
