Grant Demaree

Grant Demaree is the co-founder and CEO of Onebrief, a venture-backed defense technology startup based in Austin, Texas. Before launching the company in 2021, he served for five years as a United States Army officer, deploying to Liberia for counter-Ebola efforts and to Iraq for the counter-ISIS military campaign. He previously studied Nuclear Engineering and International Relations at the United States Military Academy at West Point. Under his leadership, Onebrief developed a collaborative software platform for military mission planning and secured Series A venture funding in 2023 from investors including Scout Ventures and Bedrock Capital. The platform subsequently expanded its operational scope to support joint military exercises across active United States military units in 2024. Demaree currently focuses on bridging his extensive military operational experience with enterprise software development to modernize critical national security infrastructure.
