Gorka Aguirre

Gorka Aguirre is the CEO and Founder of Snab, a financial technology startup currently based in Madrid, Spain. Prior to establishing this venture, he spent six years working as a private equity professional operating out of New York. During his tenure in the alternative investment sector, he contributed to a private equity firm that expanded its total assets under management from nearly zero to over $2 billion. Aguirre spent three of those years directly supervising the corporate treasuries of multiple portfolio companies, where he encountered severe operational inefficiencies across traditional business banking and B2B payment processes. His academic credentials include dual undergraduate degrees in law and business administration, alongside a master's degree in finance. His current professional focus centers on leveraging his corporate finance background to modernize treasury management and streamline B2B payment infrastructure.
