Gordy Sun

Gordy Sun is the founder of Lakonia and an undergraduate student at Stanford University based in the broader San Francisco Bay Area. At Lakonia, he develops an artificial intelligence-powered command and control platform designed to provide situational awareness for law enforcement and military operational applications. He is currently pursuing dual academic degrees in computer science and electrical engineering at Stanford, having previously completed his secondary education at The Harker School. Prior to launching his current venture, Sun worked as a software engineering intern on the systems team at Saronic, a defense technology company focused on autonomous surface vehicles, and was selected to participate in the highly competitive 8VC Fellowship program. His professional background and current focus are primarily centered on the intersection of defense technology, artificial intelligence for tactical environments, and foreign policy.
