Glenn Markov

Glenn Markov is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Rejuvenation Technologies, a venture-backed biotechnology company based in Mountain View, California. He co-founded the startup in 2018 to develop nucleoside-modified TERT mRNA therapeutics aimed at extending human telomeres for age-related diseases. The company, which participated in the Y Combinator Summer 2018 batch, currently operates with approximately 23 employees and is advancing its therapies toward clinical trials. Prior to his entrepreneurial career, Markov earned a PhD in Genetics from Stanford University in 2018, where he conducted foundational research on stem cell reprogramming and aging. During his academic tenure, he collaborated with Stanford professor Helen Blau, contributing to highly cited research on telomere extension and proteins like NKX3-1. His current professional focus centers on bridging his genetic research background and operational leadership to commercialize regenerative medicine and longevity therapeutics.
