Giovanni Casinelli

Giovanni Casinelli is the Co-founder, President, and Chief Technology Officer of Aspire, a business financial operating system headquartered in Singapore. Since completing the Y Combinator W18 program, he has helped scale the fintech platform to serve over 50,000 businesses globally with a workforce of 500 employees. Under his technical and operational leadership, Aspire has secured more than $300 million in total equity and debt funding, including a $100 million Series C round co-led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and Peak XV Partners. Prior to launching Aspire, Casinelli held software engineering roles at Lazada and OpenRatio, and he previously founded and served as the CEO of the technology venture BonAppetour. He earned a computer engineering degree from Politecnico di Milano in 2013. His current focus centers on guiding cloud-native engineering architecture and scaling multicurrency payment operations for modern B2B financial platforms.
