Gillian OBrien

Gillian O'Brien is the General Manager at Remote and a scout investor at CRV, based in California, USA. She previously co-founded Cherry, an employee perks platform backed by the Y Combinator Winter 2019 batch, which she operated alongside her sister before officially winding down the business. Following her time as a founder, she served as Chief of Staff at Dover, another Y Combinator-backed startup from the Summer 2019 cohort. O'Brien then transitioned to Pilot.com, a unicorn startup with over four hundred employees and more than one thousand customers, where she worked as Head of Startup Community and Founder in Residence. She holds a bachelor's degree from New York University and is also an active, certified yoga instructor. Her professional background currently centers on human resources technology, startup operations, community building, and early-stage venture capital investments.
