Geoffrey Negiar

Geoffrey Negiar is the co-founder and CEO of The Forecasting Company, an artificial intelligence software startup based in Paris, France. Founded in 2024 and backed by the Y Combinator Summer 2024 batch, his firm of five to seven employees builds foundation models for time-series forecasting to optimize enterprise supply chain, staffing, and finance operations. Before transitioning to entrepreneurship, he earned a PhD from the Berkeley Artificial Intelligence Research lab at the University of California, Berkeley, specializing in machine learning and predictive modeling. His professional background includes applied research and engineering roles focused on deep learning, optimization, and forecasting science at major technology and financial institutions, including Amazon, Google Brain, JP Morgan, and Bloomberg LP. Negiar currently focuses on bridging advanced machine learning techniques with practical enterprise applications to improve predictive operational decision-making across global commercial markets.
