Gavin Bains

Gavin Bains is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of TLDC, an early-stage venture studio based in London, United Kingdom. He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Warwick and previously worked in venture capital, co-founding earlier ventures in the fintech and blockchain sectors. Through TLDC, which operates on a model inspired by a16z, Bains has launched more than five portfolio companies, including the artificial intelligence startup NexusAI in February 2026. He recently announced a $3 million seed funding round for a portfolio company in November 2025 and maintains ecosystem partnerships with Polygon. Bains frequently participates in major industry events, including presenting at Web Summit 2024, and maintains an online audience of approximately 15,000 followers.
