Gauri Agarwal

Gauri Agarwal is the Chief Technology Officer at Koyal AI, an artificial intelligence technology startup based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In her current executive role, she directs the engineering and product development of audio-to-video generative AI platforms, bridging academic multimedia research with commercial software applications. Prior to joining Koyal AI, Agarwal served as a software engineer at Meta, where she developed high-scale consumer features and core infrastructure for the Instagram Video team. She received her bachelor's degree from the Carnegie Mellon University School of Computer Science in 2020. Agarwal is concurrently advancing her academic research through a specialized graduate degree program at the MIT Media Lab, expecting to complete her advanced studies in 2025.
