Frederik Hansen

Frederik Hansen is the CEO and Co-founder of DiligenceSquared, an artificial intelligence firm automating commercial due diligence for investors. Previously, he spent six years as a Principal in Blackstone's Private Equity team across San Francisco, New York, and London, where he executed multi-billion dollar buyout deals. During his tenure, Hansen regularly commissioned commercial due diligence reports costing upwards of $500,000 from top-tier strategy consulting firms like McKinsey and BCG. In March 2026, he led DiligenceSquared to a $5 million Seed funding round backed by Relentless and Y Combinator to expand its software capabilities. The company began onboarding clients in October 2025 and currently serves investment funds collectively overseeing more than $2 trillion in assets under management. His current focus centers on leveraging AI to streamline the investment evaluation process for large-scale private equity transactions.
