Zdenek Fred Fous

Zdenek Fred Fous is a General Partner at PurposeTech Lab based in Prague, Czech Republic, where he leads investments in early-stage impact technology startups across Europe. He currently manages over €50 million in total assets across multiple funds, recently leading the €35 million final close of PurposeTech Lab's Fund III in March 2025. Prior to his current role, Fous co-founded and led early-stage investment strategies at Reflexive VC and Outsite Ventures, building an active portfolio of more than 20 companies. The University of Economics, Prague alumnus also serves on the advisory board of the Czech Climate Tech Hub and authored the Impact VC Playbook publication in early 2026. His current focus remains centered on bridging traditional venture capital with measurable sustainability by backing European startups in climate technology, health technology, and artificial intelligence for good.
