Frank Wang

Frank Wang is the co-founder and Chief Technical Officer of SST, an open-source serverless application platform based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He established the developer tools company alongside co-founder Jay V, successfully guiding the startup through the Y Combinator Summer 2021 batch and securing early venture capital backing from Greylock. Prior to developing the SST framework, Wang served as the Chief Technical Officer at SEED.run and co-founded Anomaly Innovations, where he specialized in cloud infrastructure and developer experience. Under his technical leadership, the SST project has accumulated over 18,000 GitHub stars and recently launched its third iteration, transitioning its deployment engine from AWS CloudFormation to a Terraform and Pulumi-based model. Today, Wang maintains a primary professional focus on advancing open-source software, multi-cloud infrastructure, and accessible serverless computing environments for global developer communities.
