Francesco Agosti

Francesco Agosti is the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Phantom, a cryptocurrency wallet developer based in San Francisco, California. Under his technical leadership, the company scaled to over 100 employees and secured $277 million in total funding, reaching a $3 billion valuation in January 2025 following a $150 million round co-led by Sequoia Capital and Paradigm. The platform launched for the Solana ecosystem in 2021 and has since expanded its infrastructure to support the Ethereum, Polygon, and Bitcoin networks. Prior to establishing Phantom, Agosti served as a Staff Software Engineer and tech lead at 0x Labs, where he focused on decentralized exchange infrastructure and built the 0x-api. He previously worked as a full-stack and iOS software engineer at Yelp. His current professional focus remains on advancing self-custodial consumer crypto applications and decentralized finance infrastructure.
