Femi Iromini

Femi Iromini is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Moni, a financial technology company based in Lagos, Nigeria. Under his leadership, the Y Combinator-backed startup provides community-powered financing to small businesses across Africa, disbursing over $5 million across 11,000 loans while maintaining a 99% repayment rate. The platform has onboarded more than 36,000 merchants and secured a $1.5 million seed funding round in 2022 to expand its collective responsibility lending model. Prior to launching Moni, Iromini worked with the World Bank Group on Nigeria’s Country Private Sector Diagnostic and gained experience in investment banking. He previously founded Lead360, an education technology initiative designed to bridge the gap between learning and employment for young professionals. His career centers on leveraging data analysis and community-driven frameworks to accelerate financial inclusion and economic development in emerging markets.
