Femi Aluko

Femi Aluko is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Chowdeck, an on-demand food delivery and logistics platform based in Lagos, Nigeria. Under his executive leadership, the enterprise secured a $4.5 million Series A funding round in 2023 and subsequently expanded its operational footprint to Abuja alongside new restaurant partnerships across the Lagos metropolitan area. Previously, Aluko served as a Principal Engineer at Paystack between 2017 and 2020, joining as the financial technology startup's fifth overall employee and first Core Payments Engineer. During his tenure leading up to the company's 2020 acquisition by Stripe, he designed critical payment infrastructure, including circuit breakers capable of routing more than 100,000 daily transactions. His professional background centers on engineering scalable software infrastructure and directing high-volume consumer technology operations within the broader African fintech and logistics sectors.
