FELIPE JIN LI

Felipe Jin Li is the Co-founder of Denki, an AI-powered financial audit automation startup based in San Francisco, California. Founded in 2025 alongside his brother David Jin Li, the Y Combinator-backed company recently raised $4.1 million in funding to replace manual public company audit processes with software. Prior to launching Denki, he pursued a doctorate in explainable artificial intelligence at University College London, where his academic research specifically focused on evaluating vision-language models. His earlier professional experience includes working as a Summer Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company and serving as the lead for design and mobile engineering at a startup backed by General Electric. Additionally, he previously studied computer science and won technical hackathons hosted by Meta and OpenAI. Li currently focuses on applying explainable AI technologies to streamline Sarbanes-Oxley regulatory compliance and enterprise financial audits.
