Farhan Khan

Farhan Khan is the Founder of Meteor and a serial technology entrepreneur and software engineer based in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. He initially studied computer science at the University of Waterloo before ultimately dropping out of the undergraduate degree program to pursue technology entrepreneurship and build high-performance developer tools. Prior to his current venture, Khan architected and launched Maxima, an integrated development environment specifically engineered to operate up to 60 times faster than standard industry software alternatives. He subsequently established Meteor.js, an open-source, full-stack JavaScript web framework that successfully scaled to support thousands of active users and accumulated over 40,000 stars on the GitHub platform.
