Evgeny Kuryshev

Evgeny Kuryshev is the Co-founder and CTO of Mirror AI, an artificial intelligence and computer vision startup based in the San Francisco Bay Area. After beginning his career as a software developer at Yandex, he co-founded Emerging Travel Group, the parent company of Ostrovok.ru, alongside Serge Faguet. Under his technical leadership, the online travel agency raised more than $50 million in venture capital and scaled to process hundreds of millions of dollars in annual booking volume. At Mirror AI, Kuryshev developed facial recognition technology to generate personalized emojis, leading the company through the Y Combinator accelerator program. The consumer mobile application subsequently secured financial backing from prominent institutional investors, including SoftBank, Greylock Partners, and SV Angel. His career focus centers on building machine learning infrastructure and scaling high-growth consumer technology and artificial intelligence platforms.
