Everett Lee

Everett Lee is the Co-Founder and CTO of Monarcha, an artificial intelligence startup based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Launched in 2025, the company is currently participating in the Y Combinator S25 batch. Prior to founding Monarcha, Lee worked as an AI Engineer developing computer vision models at WEX and served as a Data Scientist at Avalara. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Cornell University in 2021, where he also led the Machine Learning Engineering Team at Cornell Data Science. With nine years of coding experience and three years as a professional software developer, he ultimately left his master's degree studies at Cornell to build his current venture. His current focus centers on blending hands-on machine learning engineering with product leadership to translate academic research into deployable software products.
