Ev Kontsevoy

Ev Kontsevoy is the co-founder and CEO of Teleport, an identity-based infrastructure access management platform based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to this executive role, he co-founded and served as the CEO of Mailgun, a developer-focused email API service that participated in the Y Combinator Winter 2011 batch. Following Mailgun's successful corporate acquisition by Rackspace in 2012, Kontsevoy transitioned into a product leadership position within the cloud computing company. He later established his current enterprise software firm, originally named Gravitational before undergoing a corporate rebranding in 2020. Under his leadership, Teleport reached a $1.1 billion valuation following a $110 million Series C funding round led by Bessemer Venture Partners in May 2022. Kontsevoy's professional background centers on engineering scalable business-to-business software, focusing specifically on cybersecurity, developer tools, and cloud infrastructure APIs.
