Ethan Yu

Ethan Yu is a Co-Founder at Motion, an artificial intelligence productivity software company based in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. He co-founded the time management startup in 2019 and subsequently helped secure a $13 million Series A venture funding round in September 2022. Prior to his current entrepreneurial venture, Yu worked as a Software Engineer at Facebook, where he directly contributed to various engineering and user growth initiatives. His eleven years of professional experience also include three years operating as a Quantitative Trader at Citadel, alongside an earlier role as a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company. He previously earned a bachelor's degree in computer science from Dartmouth College in 2016. Yu currently focuses on scaling B2B software platforms by leveraging his combined background in artificial intelligence, software engineering, and quantitative financial modeling.
