Ernest Semerda is the Co-founder of Veryfi, Inc., an AI-driven data extraction software company based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to launching the Y Combinator-backed startup in 2017, he co-founded Medlert, a healthcare logistics platform now known as VectorCare that powers operations for major hospital networks including Kaiser. He previously served as the International Engineering Lead at Coupons, Inc., where he contributed to the company's growth leading up to its $2 billion initial public offering. His earlier career includes roles as the Chief Technology Officer at Couponstar and in corporate architecture at AMP Ltd, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and an MBA from AGSM. Semerda currently focuses on leveraging artificial intelligence and machine vision technologies to automate bookkeeping and transform unstructured financial documents into structured enterprise data.
