Emotu Balogun

Emotu Balogun is the Co-founder and CEO of Sendbox, an e-commerce fulfillment and shipping platform based in Lagos, Nigeria. Prior to this executive role, he served as the Co-founder and CEO of Traclist, a dedicated fashion marketplace for Nigerian merchants, and spent over a decade leading software engineering teams for commercial banking, logistics, data analytics, and fintech clients. Under his leadership, Sendbox participated in the Y Combinator Winter 2021 batch and subsequently secured a $1.8 million seed funding round in October 2021. The funding round, which supported expansion across West Africa following a reported 300% year-over-year growth since the company's 2018 launch, included investments from 4DX Ventures and Flexport. Balogun currently focuses on developing logistics infrastructure, business strategy, and cross-platform software integrations to support small-scale social media and e-commerce sellers throughout the African market.
