Emily Yuan

Emily Yuan is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Corgi, a fully automated artificial intelligence insurance carrier based in San Francisco. She recently launched the financial technology and insurance startup as part of the Y Combinator Summer 2024 batch. Prior to this venture, Yuan studied computer science at Stanford University before leaving her undergraduate program at age 20 to build consumer applications. She previously served as the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Basket Entertainment, scaling the mobile gaming enterprise to a portfolio of over 150 distinct titles. During her tenure, the studio achieved 200 million monthly active players and reached approximately one-third of all American teenagers. Recognized as a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree, her professional background centers on scaling early-stage ventures across the consumer technology, mobile gaming, and artificial intelligence sectors.
