Eli Badgio

Eli Badgio is the Co-founder of Extend, a venture-backed insurtech platform, and is based in San Francisco, California. He currently oversees both product and growth initiatives for the company, which has raised over $260 million in venture funding, reached a $1.6 billion valuation, and serves more than 100 enterprise clients including the footwear brand Allbirds. Under his leadership, Extend recently launched an API for embedded warranties and expanded its operations into the European market with a United Kingdom launch in early 2026. Prior to co-founding Extend, Badgio previously held product management roles at the fintech unicorn Brex and worked at various Y Combinator-backed startups after earning a computer science degree from Stanford University. His current professional focus primarily centers on scaling consumer-facing marketplaces and developing embedded insurance solutions within the broader financial technology sector.
