Elena Samuylova

Elena Samuylova is the CEO and Co-founder of Evidently AI, an open-source machine learning observability platform based in San Francisco, California. Before establishing the enterprise software company in 2020, she led business development for the enterprise machine learning division at Yandex Data Factory, delivering predictive models to the retail, commercial banking, and telecommunications sectors. She also previously served as the Chief Product Officer and co-founder of an industrial artificial intelligence startup that optimized production processes for the global steel and chemical markets. Under her leadership, Evidently AI participated in the Y Combinator Summer 2021 accelerator batch and subsequently launched Evidently Cloud in early 2024 to support enterprise data science teams. With over seven years of experience deploying complex production systems, Samuylova currently focuses on developing open-source evaluation and monitoring tools for applied machine learning operations.
