Einar Vollset is the General Partner at TinySeed and Managing Partner at Discretion Capital, currently based in Fresno, California. Alongside co-founder Rob Walling at TinySeed, he manages an early-stage B2B SaaS fund that recently closed its Americas Fund 2 and EMEA Fund 2, deploying capital into over 130 companies. His concurrent work at Discretion Capital focuses on sell-side M&A advisory for growing software businesses with sub-$50 million enterprise values. Vollset holds a doctorate in computer science from Cornell University, where he previously served as a professor. As a Winter 2007 Y Combinator alumnus, he founded and led several technology startups, including ReMail, which was acquired by Google in 2010, and AppAftercare, which he bootstrapped to a 2016 acquisition.
