Egor Gagin

Egor Gagin is the Co-founder of Awning AI and is currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Previously, he led augmented and virtual reality product initiatives at Meta and developed an automated anxiety therapist at a digital health startup. He also served as the Chief Technology Officer of Lysto AI, an inactive startup backed by Y Combinator during its Summer 2023 batch. Earlier in his career, Gagin optimized over 100 million ad traffic requests on the Ads Web Team at Rokt and processed more than 500 images per second using over 20 machine learning models at Tripod AI. He holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, where he published research in cloud computing and computer vision. His current focus centers on leveraging generative artificial intelligence to build emerging technology products.
