Edward Huang

Edward Huang is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of finbar, an artificial intelligence financial technology startup based in the United Kingdom. Before establishing the company in 2023, he worked as an investment analyst at a hedge fund and held a finance position at Goldman Sachs. An Oxford University graduate and former King's Scholar at Eton College, Huang is also a Chartered Financial Analyst who personally developed the initial software architecture for his startup. Under his leadership, finbar secured a June 2025 pre-seed funding round backed by Y Combinator and Nama Ventures, and its platform is currently utilized by top-20 hedge funds managing over $250 billion in total assets. His current operational focus centers on product development and enterprise sales strategy for AI-driven investment research and automated financial modeling tools targeting institutional asset managers.
