Eduardo Ortiz de Lanzagorta Gonzalez

Eduardo Ortiz de Lanzagorta Gonzalez is the Co-founder and CEO of Fuell, a corporate card and expense management platform based in Madrid, Spain. He launched his first venture-backed financial technology startup while completing his undergraduate degree in Industrial Organization Engineering at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Transitioning into the venture capital sector, he co-founded Encomenda Smart Capital, which became one of Spain's most active seed funds by backing more than 40 early-stage companies. Returning to operations, he established Fuell and subsequently led the enterprise software company through the Y Combinator Summer 2020 accelerator program. Under his leadership, the startup scaled its business-to-business operations until it was acquired by the global financial operating system Jeeves in September 2023. His professional background centers on building and funding scalable financial technology solutions across the European startup ecosystem.
