Eddie Obropta

Eddie Obropta is the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Raptor Maps Inc., an enterprise software company based in the Greater Boston area of Massachusetts. He earned both a Bachelor of Science in 2013 and a Master of Science in 2015 in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. While studying at MIT, he won the university's prominent $100K Entrepreneurship Competition in 2015 before leading his new startup through the Y Combinator accelerator program during the summer 2016 cohort. As CTO, he directs the technical development of aerial inspection and analytics platforms used by global solar operators to manage large-scale photovoltaic systems and optimize clean energy production. Obropta currently focuses on scaling climate technology solutions by applying his specialized aerospace engineering background to advance renewable energy software, aerial analytics, and solar asset management.
