Drew Wilson is an independent entrepreneur, software engineer, and self-taught UI/UX designer based in the San Diego, California area. Throughout his career, he has focused on bootstrapping software products and design assets, successfully launching digital tools such as the widely used icon set Pictos and the Mac application Screeny. Wilson later founded the venture-backed SaaS payment platform Plasso, which was built on top of the Stripe ecosystem to facilitate e-commerce transactions. In September 2018, Plasso was officially acquired by GoDaddy, leading Wilson to serve as a Director of Product at the global web hosting company from 2018 to 2019. Additionally, he co-authored the technology and business strategy book Execute alongside Josh Long. Today, his professional focus remains centered on rapid independent product development, B2B SaaS engineering, and active participation within the broader tech startup ecosystem.
