Douglas E. Rogers

Douglas E. Rogers is an independent technical and strategic advisor based in the East Bay region of California, where he currently consults for large-scale corporate enterprises and Fortune 500 companies. Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, he previously served as the technical co-founder of Pretty Instant, a venture-backed enterprise photography marketplace startup that participated in the Winter 2015 batch of Y Combinator. In this executive capacity, Rogers directed the company's core technical architecture and software engineering initiatives from its initial launch through its subsequent scaling phase. His technical leadership at the startup culminated in a successful exit when Pretty Instant was officially acquired by the on-demand photography platform Snappr in 2021. Today, Rogers leverages his extensive background in marketplace technology and startup operations to guide complex enterprise software strategy while continuing to actively build independent coding projects.
