Dorian Bach

Dorian Bach is the Co-founder and Chief Design Officer at Joy, a consumer software and life event planning platform based in San Francisco, California. Backed by Y Combinator as part of the S16 cohort, the technology company operates with a 100-person team and serves millions of active users annually across more than 120 countries. Under his direct product and design leadership, the platform is currently utilized to organize approximately four percent of all American weddings each year. Prior to establishing Joy, Bach held senior design leadership positions at Microsoft, where he contributed extensively to the development of the Windows Phone operating system and the Azure cloud computing platform. His current professional focus remains on integrating user interface design, product strategy, and hands-on software engineering to build scalable consumer tools for complex event management.
