Din Mailibay is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Laminar, an open-source artificial intelligence infrastructure platform based in San Francisco, United States. Founded in 2024 with an initial six-person team, the startup participated in the Y Combinator Summer 2024 batch under the guidance of primary partner Jared Friedman. Prior to launching Laminar, Mailibay spent two years as a software engineer at Amazon, where he focused on building and scaling critical backend payments infrastructure for high-volume enterprise systems. Before his tenure at Amazon, he worked for one year in South Korea, developing specialized machine learning infrastructure for an early-stage drug discovery biotechnology startup. Mailibay leverages his background in engineering enterprise-grade backend systems to build developer tools for large language models, maintaining a current focus on observability, workflow tracing, and anomaly detection for autonomous AI agents.
