Diego Banovaz

Diego Banovaz is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Develhope and the Chairman of Epicode, currently based in Palermo, Italy. In November 2022, he directed Develhope through a €6 million Series A institutional funding round backed by CDP Venture Capital to expand its software engineering education programs into international markets like Spain and Turkey. Prior to this role, he founded the coding bootcamp Strive School in 2019, which participated in the Y Combinator Summer 2020 batch before being acquired and integrated into Epicode's operations. Expanding his entrepreneurial portfolio, he also established the technology venture B2BOOST OÜ in February 2025, a startup projecting an initial annual turnover of €298,811. Holding a master's degree in computer engineering, Banovaz focuses his professional career on scaling educational technology platforms, combating youth unemployment, and advancing software development training ventures.
