Dhruv Roongta

Dhruv Roongta is the Co-founder of Slashy, an artificial intelligence startup based in the United States. In this executive role, he directs the technical development of autonomous AI agents that are specifically designed to automate complex enterprise knowledge work. Prior to launching his current venture, Roongta studied computer science at the Georgia Institute of Technology before dropping out during his sophomore year to pursue entrepreneurship full-time. His technical background includes specialized software engineering internships at high-growth technology companies, completing roles at Groq, Greptile in the winter of 2024, and Pulse in the summer of 2024. He previously gained early industry recognition by securing multiple prize-winning placements at major collegiate programming events, including CalHacks and HackMIT. Roongta maintains a primary focus on advancing software engineering frameworks to deploy scalable artificial intelligence solutions for modern workplace automation.
