Derek Lo

Derek Lo is the Founder and CEO of Medallion, a healthcare technology company based in San Francisco, California. Prior to establishing the provider network management platform in 2020, he founded Py, an interactive coding education application that was backed by Y Combinator. Under his leadership, Medallion has secured over $85 million in total venture funding, including a $35 million Series C round co-led by Sequoia Capital and Spark Capital in 2022. The enterprise software firm recently ranked third on Inc. magazine’s 2024 Fastest-Growing Private Companies in the Pacific Region. A Yale University computer science graduate, Lo was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list for Healthcare and recognized among the Top 50 Healthcare Technology CEOs of 2024. His current focus remains on scaling B2B SaaS solutions that automate administrative workflows and streamline medical credentialing processes.
