Denis Mars

Denis Mars is the Head of Future Technologies at ŌURA and an active technology angel investor based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Before assuming his current corporate position in May 2023, he served as the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Proxy, a specialized digital identity and access technology enterprise. During his seven-year tenure at Proxy, Mars successfully raised over $60 million in venture capital funding from prominent firms including Kleiner Perkins and participated in the Y Combinator accelerator program. His executive leadership culminated in the strategic acquisition of Proxy by the health wearable company ŌURA, marking his third successful financial exit as a serial startup founder. Mars currently focuses on advancing smart ring hardware capabilities and digital identity integration, while simultaneously directing his personal investment capital toward emerging early-stage, AI-native technology startups.
