Deepak Thakur

Deepak Thakur is the Co-founder of ShortLoop, an artificial intelligence platform for automotive dealerships, based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Under his leadership, the company scaled to serve over 100 dealerships and secured a $10 million Series A round led by Peak XV Partners in January 2026, following a $2.5 million seed round backed by Accel. Thakur recently oversaw the March 2025 launch of an AI service scheduling tool that increased efficiency by 30 percent, establishing strategic partnerships with industry players like Tata Motors. Prior to founding ShortLoop, he held engineering and product leadership roles at various automotive technology firms and earned a computer science degree from the Indian Institute of Technology. His current focus remains on developing B2B SaaS applications that leverage machine learning to automate sales, customer relationship management, and retail operations.
